HI!! It's so nice to meet you!!

After months of encouragement from friends and family, I am finally taking the steps to create a space where my words exist on the internet. If you're new here, and don't know who I am, here is a brief introduction to who I am and what I'm "all about."

Hi, my name's Emma! I've been writing poetry for eight years, though I remain unpublished, mostly from lack of submitting anything. I was raised in the church, but I have only been following Christ for two years. I currently work at a Montessori school as a preschool teacher's assistant, I have a cat named Mercury, I play D&D, and I spend a majority of my time either at church or with friends.

Most of my brain power is occupied by two things: pondering and loving.

I hope this blog will be a place that readers can join me in my pondering, to open the doors of conversation into an open, honest dialogue about the things that matter most, as well as the things that don't matter at all, and I hope y'all will join me as I love things in the form of writing! God created a beautiful world for us to inhabit, and with this beautiful world comes trials. I want to navigate the trials in a way that points ultimately to Him, and examine the beauty of His creation at the same time. I also believe that God speaks to us through people and circumstances, so I hope to share the wisdom that I have received in hopes that even a single person might gain some benefit from it.

Mostly, I'm just here to have fun! I hope you'll join me as we examine, together, the beauty of life, the wrench of it, the things big and small.
